AN ONGOING PARTNERSHIP–
As the continuing Official Partner of Focus, the section dedicated to galleries founded twelve years ago or less, Stone Island supported 34 emerging gallerists at Frieze London through a special bursary for each participant with the aim of creating a platform for rising artists across generations, cultures, and continents. For the third time, after New York and Seoul, Stone Island made staff T-shirts featuring the work ‘Artificial Sun II’ by Nat Faulkner, who showed with the London gallery Brunette Coleman as part of Focus.

London-based artist Nat Faulkner, who collaborated with Stone Island to design fair staff T-shirts, made full use of the brand’s advanced pigment chemistry, finding parallels to how he uses the darkroom in his analog photography. Faulkner showed his work with the Brunette Coleman gallery as part of the Focus section and the piece featured on the T-shirts, ‘Artificial Sun II’, will be donated to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, made possible by the support of Stone Island.
