Stone Island continua a esplorare le sottoculture di cui si compone la sua community globale, dedicando il nuovo capitolo alla chef Ruth Rogers che è ritratta per la campagna Primavera_Estate '025 mentre indossa la giacca 4100040 Raw Linen Plated-OVD e parla delle massime che segue nella vita, del suo film preferito e del miglior consiglio che abbia mai ricevuto.

4100040 RAW LINEN PLATED-OVD
Giacca con cappuccio in leggero panno di puro lino grezzo, permeato all’esterno da speciali resine trasparenti. La tecnica di tintura in capo ‘muove’ la resina: il colore viene così assorbito in modo eterogeneo, esaltando la naturale struttura irregolare del lino. Tinta in capo con ricette specifiche.

Concepito come forma di ricerca, il progetto indaga quei tratti che fanno unica la community del brand. La narrazione si arricchisce di una serie di domande pensate appositamente per i volti ritratti.

Who are the artists who inspire you?
Eva Hesse, Cy Twombly, Philip Guston, Caravaggio, Cézanne, de Kooning, Pollock, Tiepolo. I could go on.

Is there an exhibition that inspired you?
The retrospective that stays with me always is by Gerhard Richter. In the Tate, late ‘80s.

“Give a big party in a small space.” There's always room for one more person, and it's better to be close together.

The Godfather (Part One). I first saw it in Paris with Richard.

Mexican folk art figures from Oaxaca. But I’m more of a discarder than a collector.

Be resilient. It doesn't mean be strong, be courageous, be brave. Just resilience.

On her deathbed, my Italian mother-in-law said, “Ruthie, put less herbs on your fish and more cream on your face.”

Which building would you like to live in?
My house. It was done by my husband Richard. Every day I think how lucky I am.

An espresso.

I play the piano. I’ve been working on the same Mozart sonata probably for the last three years.

I have 140 people working with me in the River Café (with the shop and the podcast and everything else we do). I think the best advice I could give to somebody is to listen.
